5.0 out of 5 stars Best Citrus Press EVER, February 14, 2012
By William Moorefield “Tourpilot”: So far so good. I saw this in a store, and realized it was time to drop the bucks to buy something sturdy. And sturdy this is. We’ve had it a month now, and no complaints what so ever. There are five of us in the family, and we like our juice every morning. I’ve gone through four different machines before coming across this model. Braun, Cuisinart, some no-name brand – all broke. Cuisinart wouldn’t even stay stable enough to use properly. But this, this one is rock solid. My three and six year-olds LOVE pressing their own juice in the morning. It’s that easy (under adult supervision of course. The pin in the inside of of the press is VERY sharp, so use caution). Buy this thing if you drink a lot of citrus. You won’t regret it. And no, it won’t do anything else. It’s a Citrus press, period. And it WORKS, QUIETLY!!! Just great.
5.0 out of 5 stars Can’t tell you how much we love it!, January 24, 2012
By Sara: We’ve had it for almost 6 months now and we have never made so much orange juice in our lives! The things we really love about it is:
1. It’s so easy to use, you don’t have to press at all.
2. It’s actually a really cool design so we don’t have to put it away when we’re not using it.
3. It really gets all of the juice out of the fruits, no waste.
4. It’s extremely easy to clean. We just rinse it of with water.
Best buy ever
4.0 out of 5 stars Awesome performance but pricey like breville., January 22, 2012
By Surbhi Malpani (Boston): I would give it 4.5 but there is no way to do so. Only reason I would take the half star is for its price. If you can afford that price and you like orange juice you MUST have this. I don’t like store bought OJ so this was a must for me. Every thing is good, performance, clean up etc.
Every now and then I throw the plates etc in dishwasher. No problem at all. Initially I had difficulty putting up the upper cone. but now I have got the hang of it. Sits on my counter top with no difficulty. I like the dust cap feature as well. I also like the drip stop feature of the spout. I have it for almost a year now. I use it 2-3 times a week.
Some people don’t like the size of it but I don’t care. I am more than happy if the device performs well and if cleaning and maintenance is not big of a deal. I like the ease of it. Cut oranges in 1/2 ..juicing takes less than a min for a glass..and cleaning takes about 2-3 mins.
