How To Make Liposomal Vitamin C at Home. I have gathered here some of the better videos and resources for anyone looking for information on making their own Liposomal Vitamin C.
High doses of Vit C have proven to be effective against many maladies, for such diverse issues ranging from snake and tick bites to terminal cancer.
High Doses of Vitamin C Reverses Pneumonia
… in only THREE hours. In the video below, watch Natural News Talk Hour interviewing Dr. Andrew Saul, Ph.D, about how he cured his own Viral Pneumonia in just three hours using massive doses of Vitamin C tablets. Dr. Saul is the author of two great books: “Fire Your Doctor” and “Doctor Yourself”
The most common problem with Vitamin C supplementation is the absorb-ability, and also that the dosage required for best effect often induces stomach upset and diarrhea.
Enter The New Breed – Liposomal Vitamin C
Luckily in recent years, there has been an advance made by Livon Labs – that uses an encapsulating process. This produces “Liposomal Vitamin C” – a product that is up to 90% bio-available, making it far superior to the usual Vitamin C supplements.

The mechanics of liposomal encapsulated vitamin C
Cardiologist and orthomolecular specialist Dr. Thomas Levy discovered exactly why the clinical results of this type of oral C could match the efficacy of many times as much vitamin C by IV.
Dr. Levy was skeptical at first. He has treated thousands of patients with IV C and is seriously involved with orthomolecular (high dose vitamin treatment) medicine. He couldn’t believe what was happening with this oral C compound’s ability to match or surpass clinical results with much higher doses of IV C.
He came to realize that the combination of vitamin C and essential phospholipids radically improved cellular bio-availability. Less than 20 percent of IV C gets into cells. But the Lypo-Spheric compound permits 90 percent of the C to get into cells. That’s because cell walls are made of fats. Vitamin C is water soluble.
Tiny particles of vitamin C coated with phospholipids create molecules of vitamin C coated with a substance similar to the cell walls. Thus those coated vitamin C molecules can slip into the cells easily. The encapsulation also avoids diarrhea thresholds of normal oral C.

Make Your Own Liposomal Vitamin C!
Now … buying pre-prepared Liposomal Vitamin C is expensive and probably not a long term option for most people. Those of us who were enthralled by the availability of this new Vit C, were further blown away when well-known researcher – Brooks Bradley – shared with us a method he had developed to enable people to make their own to make Encapsulated Vitamin C – in their home and for an extremely affordable cost.
With immense gratitude to Brooks Bradley, below is the initial method he shared:
1. Dissolved 3 level tablespoons of soy lecithin in 1 cup of water (preferably distilled). Note: This is key to being successful from the start. Mix the lecithin and distilled water in a seal-able quart jar so you can shake/agitate until the lecithin is completely dissolved. You don’t want any lecithin granules visible. Keep agitating until all granules are dissolved.
2. Dissolved 1 level tablespoon of ascorbic acid powder (Vit. “C”) in 1/2 cup of water.
3. Poured both solutions together in the ultrasonic cleaner bowl and turned the unit on. Using a plastic straw (leaving the top of the cleaner opened), gently, slowly, stirred the contents. Note: The cleaner will, automatically, self-stop about every 2 minutes. Just push ON button to continue. Repeat for a total of 3 series (6 minutes). By that time the entire solution should be blended into a cloudy, homogeneous, milk-like mixture. The LET solution is now formed.
Tip: Pour the dissolved Vitamin C solution into the seal-able quart jar with the dissolved lecithin and shake briefly prior to pouring into the ultra-sonic cleaner. If you dissolved your lecithin first as directed in the note above you will need to close the lid due to bubbling. Simply open the lid frequently and give the mixture a quick stir before closing the lid again.
4. This protocol furnishes about 12 grams (12000mg.) of vitamin C product. At 70% encapsulation efficiency, 8400 mg would be of the LET type. This solution will keep, acceptably, at room temperature for 3 to 4 days. Refrigerated, it will keep much longer.
Note: You can use the verification test described in comment #3 below to test the efficacy of your Liposomal Vitamin C. If you followed the tip about completely dissolving the lecithin granules prior to mixing in the ultrasonic cleaner you should have 75%+ encapsulation.
We use it so fast around our place, there isn’t enough left to be concerned over storage. The “homogenizing effect” is so powerful that after 3 days at room temperature, no precipitation or solution separation appears evident. This type of sequestered vitamin “C” has demonstrated to be, at least 5 times more effective (per volumetric measure) than any other form of orally-ingested vitamin “c”that we have tested.
Additionally, it appears to be even more rapid in tissue-bed availability than IV applications. An astounding revelation to us. We estimate the DIY researcher can produce the active LET portion of this solution for 15 cents per gram – as against about $1.00 per gram from commercial sources.
Changes to The Initial LET C Recipe
Further testing and advancements have been made as other researchers around the world started to use this method of encapsulating Vitamin C.
Most people who are into natural health are aware of the problems associated with soy products. There is now a much better option available for the lecithin part of this process – and that is Sunflower Lecithin. If you cannot get sunflower, then try and make sure the soy lecithin is GMO free.
It is also now recommended to use Sodium Ascorbate – rather than Ascorbic Acid. Sodium Ascorbate is non-acidic and it is more soluble than Ascorbic Acid. It is more reactive than Ascorbic Acid in building connective tissues and antibody structures – which make it much more effective in killing viruses and bacteria.
Sodium Ascorbate is also absorbed easier by the body than Ascorbic Acid, as it provides a more bio-available source of Vitamin C.

How To Make Liposomal Vitamin C
Making this amazing supplement at home is extremely easy. The best video I have found (although a little long-winded) on making LET Liposomal Vitamin C is below.
Please be aware that there are lots of videos and articles on how to make liposomal vitamin c – with mis-information on the process. What is used in this particular video is the best way. It produces a product very similar to the expensive pre-made product. Note the texture of the final product – because this is what you are looking for:
The Recipe For Liposomal Vitamin C
- 3 level tablespoons of lecithin.
- 1 level tablespoon of sodium ascorbate.
- Dissolve the lecithin in 1 cup (240cc) of warm or cold water, use distilled water if possible. Let it soak for a couple of hours or so. It doesn’t have to clump, so using warm water is preferable (not hot!).
- Dissolve the sodium ascorbate in 1/2 cup warm water.
- Pour both of the solutions together into your ultrasonic cleaner and mix it for at least 15 minutes.
The above LET C recipe provides 12 grams (12000 mg) of Vitamin C Ascorbate – at about 70% to 90% liposomal encapsulation efficiency.
A loading dose of liposomal vitamin C is likely 2,000 mg three times a day. A maintenance dose is 1,000 mg twice a day, increasing the doses and amounts when required.
Your Encapsulated Vit C will keep at room temperature for about 3 to 4 days and if stored in the refrigerator – will keep for about one week.
To Recap: 6 grams of this recipe is equivalent to 50 grams of IV vitamin C.
Now you know how to make liposomal vitamin c, you can save yourself a lot of money!
