As a long term follower of natural health principles, I have started to develop this website to share information on the vast array of holistic health and alternative healing options there are available. Living pure health covers the whole person, encompassing the body, the mind, the spirit and the emotions – your good health is dependent of all of these and more.
It is my hope that I can develop my website to a stage where it will empower and enthuse you and your family, and enable you to start a journey into living a much healthier lifestyle.
As well as being my own personal good health blog, I intend to cover lots of varied topics covered such as natural holistic remedies, health foods, Yoga, herbal supplements, body detox and some of the different detoxing products…
There are so many Natural Supplements and Holistic Treatments out there. Some are extremely ancient and some are relatively new. And still more have yet to be explored thoroughly or even be discovered yet.
Some are fantastic … and some are complete scams. And some of them, only “fringe dwellers” know about LOL. Some you can utilize at no cost at all and others may cost you an arm and a leg (maybe your own!)
I have used my own body as my person experimentation field for many years, and subjected it to things that have sometimes given it a real fright! I have used conventional therapies and also therapies that some people may find horrific or even disgusting. I have done things which are so far off the beaten track that most people have no idea about them.
I have suffered back problems from a herniated disc and found my own answer for that. This after I was told by all the professionals, doctors, chiropractors etc., that I would need an operation to even be able to stand up straight again – let alone walk properly. Of course I refused – no-one is going to cut out a part of me that I need if I can help it!
In the long run I have come out healthier and – I believe – a whole lot wiser. I am able to deal with many health issues at home, it is extremely rare for me to see a conventional doctor (or a vet for my pets).
This is empowering and exciting, not to mention money saving! I hope to be able to share lots of the things I have learned here with you.

One of the most difficult things to do these days is figuring out steps to take in reducing the toxic elements in our lives. Especially for people living in cities, there is a constant bombardment of nasties.
Apart from natural healing alternatives, there are many options and alternatives for safer home and beauty products. By changing to more natural, safe & effective products you can be rewarded with many benefits. Ranging from healthy weight loss, to more energy, clearer thinking & better long term health.
So How Do You Live Pure Health?
When changing your life to living in a purer way, the steps are mostly to get back to basics. If you are new to all this good health stuff, the easiest way is to just include small steps and move slowly to a cleaner, healthier life over all.
Becoming more healthy is not a one step process and there is no one single way to go. There are countless pathways and just as many opinions on which is the best. There is usually no need to rush to implement alternative health into your lifestyle (unless you have a very urgent health problem). You don’t have to do all things straight away.
The best way to go is to learn, learn, learn … then learn some more! Read all you can then read some more. What seems to make sense to you will probably be backed up by your intuition – your “gut feeling”. So you should take your first steps in that direction.
Overall, there are numerous small changes you can make that will have an impact on how you feel almost immediately. Some of these things are:
- Add a little more exercise
- Replenish you body with a healthy, fresh juice each day
- Make wise food choices – go organic – read labels
- Head off to your inclined bed earlier and rise earlier as well
- Drink lots of fresh, clean water
- Avoid unhealthful, commercial foods – just where you can
- Cut back on alcohol or cut it out altogether
- Cherish and spend time with your family and friends
- Delegate your workload where possible
- Take time to rest and love yourself, your family and friends
Take steps to learn all you can on what changes you can make to the foods you eat, the products you use and the whole way in which you live your life. Small changes can make a big difference over time, and will also lead you on into something more. Be nice to yourself, do some learning, enjoy laughter and take it easy!
